1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the JobLink Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Extension.

These terms apply to all users of the Extension, including both free and Pro subscribers.

2. Description of Service

JobLink is a Chrome browser extension that helps you manage your job search. It provides the following functionality:

• Scraping and capturing job postings from LinkedIn, Indeed, and other careers pages you visit
• Saving structured job data (JSON, HTML, PDF) to your personal Google Drive account
• A kanban-style dashboard for tracking application status (Preparation, Submitted, Rejected)
• AI-assisted tools for evaluating job fit, tailoring CVs, and drafting cover letters (Pro tier)

JobLink is an AI-powered job application assistant. It does not submit applications on your behalf and does not interact with job boards beyond reading the page you are currently viewing.

3. User Responsibilities

By using JobLink, you agree to the following:

• You own your data. All job files are saved directly to your personal Google Drive. You are responsible for managing, backing up, and deleting those files.
• You are responsible for your API keys. If you use Pro AI features with your own API keys (Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenAI), you are responsible for any usage costs incurred with those providers.
• You will not misuse the Extension. JobLink is designed for individual, targeted job applications. You agree not to use it for bulk automated applications, scraping at scale, or any purpose that violates the terms of service of any job board or website.
• You will review AI-generated content. You accept full responsibility for any documents, cover letters, or materials submitted to employers, whether AI-assisted or not.

4. AI-Generated Content

JobLink's Pro features use third-party AI APIs (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT) to generate tailored CVs, cover letters, and application packages.

• AI-generated content is provided for assistance only. It may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content unsuitable for submission.
• You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before use.
• JobLink never submits documents to employers automatically. All submissions are made by you, manually.
• We make no guarantees about the quality, accuracy, or effectiveness of AI-generated content in securing employment.

5. Payment and Subscription

JobLink offers a free tier and a Pro subscription tier.

• Free tier: Available at no cost, with no time limit. Includes job capture, Drive saving, and dashboard features.
• Pro tier: $4.99 per month, billed monthly. Includes all AI features (Evaluate Fit, Prepare Package, CV tailoring, cover letter generation).
• Pro subscriptions are managed via Lemon Squeezy. You may cancel at any time from your Lemon Squeezy account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. JobLink has no backend server and collects no personal data. All job data is stored in your own Google Drive.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• JobLink is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
• We are not liable for any loss of data, missed job opportunities, employment outcomes, or damages of any kind arising from your use of the Extension.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Extension shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the Extension's update release notes. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
